These terms govern your use of the Glintora website and any installation work commissioned from Glintora Interiors Sdn Bhd (Reg. 202401026794 (1635482-X)). By submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, or signing an installation contract you agree to be bound by these terms.
Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue. They are based on the room dimensions and ceiling condition disclosed at the time of survey. Material variations discovered on the day of fitting — for example unexpected structural beams or unsafe wiring — may give rise to a variation order which we will agree with you in writing before continuing.
Payment
For residential installations we ask for a 50 percent deposit on order confirmation, with the balance settled on the day the membrane is installed and handed over. For commercial projects above RM30,000 we propose staged payment matched to delivery milestones, with terms set out in the project contract.
Warranty
Every Glintora installation is covered by a 10-year structural warranty on the membrane (against tearing, sagging beyond 3mm centre deflection, and yellowing), and a 10-year warranty on the aluminium profile. The warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, by third-party works performed above the membrane after handover, or by water ingress originating outside the membrane envelope (e.g. roof leaks).
Site readiness
For us to begin installation, the room must be empty of furniture (or covered with our drop sheets), the existing ceiling free of loose debris, and lighting wiring routed to its final position. We are happy to coordinate with your electrician, but cannot accept liability for delays caused by site readiness outside our scope.
Cancellation
You may cancel up to seven days before the scheduled fitting date with a full deposit refund. Cancellations inside seven days are charged the cost of any membrane already cut to your size, which is typically 40 to 60 percent of the contract value.
Liability
Our maximum liability for any single installation is limited to the contracted value of that installation. We carry public liability insurance to the customary value for Malaysian fit-out contractors.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by direct discussion will be referred to the Asian International Arbitration Centre in Kuala Lumpur for binding arbitration.
