Why most clients pick matte.
Matte is the finish you choose when you want the ceiling to disappear. No reflection, no glare under sunlight, no tell-tale "this is a stretch ceiling" sheen. It reads as a perfectly skimmed traditional ceiling — except it goes up clean in eight hours, hides every blemish on the slab above, and never cracks at the corners.
It is also our best-selling colour palette: 110 warm whites, creams, and soft greys, all colour-matched to common Dulux and Nippon Paint wall ranges so the ceiling-wall transition reads as one continuous surface.
- Bay widths up to 3.6 metres without a seam
- 110+ warm-white and pale neutral colours stocked
- Compatible with concealed downlights, cove LED, fibre optics
- Dust-shedding surface — anti-static treatment included
Rooms that suit matte.
Living rooms
No glare from your TV or any window. The matte returns light evenly, never as a hot-spot.
Bedrooms
Acts the way painted plaster does, only flatter. Holds colour beautifully under warm bedside light.
Dining rooms
A matte ceiling lets a feature chandelier dominate without competing reflections.
Heritage homes
Visually identical to a freshly skimmed traditional ceiling — passes muster in conservation areas.
