Glintora Interiors was founded in 2014 to bring European-grade stretch ceiling fabrication to Malaysia, without the import waiting times.
Started in a shophouse. Now fitting 600+ ceilings.
Glintora began in 2014 in a single shopfront on Jalan Maarof, when our founder, Liyana Yeoh, returned from a profile-fabrication apprenticeship in Lyon and could not find a Malaysian installer who treated the stretch membrane as a finished architectural element rather than a budget shortcut.
Ten years on, the business has moved to a 1,400 square-metre workshop in Bukit Beruntung where we cut profile, weld custom shapes, and stage materials room-by-room before they leave for site. Everything you see in the gallery has been made and fitted by the people whose names are on this page.
We deliberately stay small. There are six full-time fitters, two cut-table operators, an in-house lighting electrician, and a single project coordinator. We turn down work we cannot personally supervise.
Four rules we will not bend.
No sub-contracted fits
If the Glintora logo is on the quotation, a Glintora foreman runs the install. We have never outsourced a fit, and we never will.
Documented samples
Every quote includes a physical 30×30cm sample of the exact batch we will install. No catalogues, no swatch printouts — the real material.
Fixed pricing
The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. If we underestimate, we eat it. Variations only enter the bill if you ask for them.
Warranty on the call sheet
The fitter who installs your ceiling is the same person who returns if anything moves in the first ten years. Their phone number is on your warranty card.

Liyana Yeoh — Founder & Atelier Director
Trained at Newmat Lyon in tensile membrane fabrication. Founded Glintora in 2014 after returning to Selangor. Sits on every initial design brief and signs off every cut sheet that leaves the workshop.
Hafiz Rashidi — Lead Installer
With the firm since year two. Has personally hung over 480 ceilings. Holds the lighting-integration certifications from Newmat and Clipso, and runs all of the printed and backlit projects.
Yi Wen Chong — Cut-table Lead
Trained as a sailmaker before joining Glintora. Reads every drawing in millimetres and runs both the heat-cutter and the seam welder. Nothing leaves the workshop without her signature.

Our workshop holds the only computer-controlled heat cut-table for stretch membrane in northern Selangor, six aluminium profile bays, a profile-bender for curved coves and arches, a UV print bed for digital surfaces, and a 24-metre seam-weld track for projects that exceed off-the-roll widths.
Stocked at any time: 220+ membrane colours, 12 acoustic densities, 4 backlit translucent grades, and six profile family variants (Pro-Loc, Pro-Curve, Pro-Light, Shadow Gap, Coved, and Decoupled).
Visit by appointment. Wear closed-toe shoes — the cut-floor is live during working hours.
