Stretch ceilings are custom-cut to your specific dimensions, so the return process is different from buying off-the-shelf goods. This page sets out our approach.
The first 90 days — free snag visit
Every Glintora installation includes a free snag visit at any point during the first 90 days. If something does not look right — a slightly visible seam, a corner that needs re-tensioning, a light fitting that shifted — phone us and we will return at no charge to make it good.
Warranty claims (years 1 to 10)
For warranty claims after the first 90 days and within the ten-year window, contact us with photographs and a description of the issue. If the issue is covered (membrane sag beyond 3mm, yellowing on white, profile failure, etc.), we will return on site and remedy the issue at no charge. If on inspection the issue falls outside the warranty (impact damage, third-party works, water ingress from outside the membrane envelope), we will quote you for the remedial work before doing anything.
Cancellations and deposits
If you cancel an order more than seven days before the scheduled fit date, your deposit is refunded in full within fourteen working days. Cancellations inside seven days are charged the cost of any membrane already cut to your room size, which is typically 40 to 60 percent of the contract value. The remainder of the deposit is refunded.
Sample packs
Sample packs are free of charge. There is nothing to return; you may keep or recycle them.
Refunds
Refunds are issued back to the original payment method (Malaysian bank transfer, credit card, or DuitNow) within fourteen working days of agreement.
Issues we cannot resolve
If you remain unhappy after a Glintora warranty visit, the next step is independent inspection. We agree in advance who the inspector will be (typically a chartered building surveyor) and we split the inspection fee 50/50. The inspector's written finding is binding on both parties.
